While you might feel mad love for our great city, there are times when you need to trade the sights and sounds of Toronto for big skies, wide-open spaces, and a little peace and quiet. Sometimes, the only way to unplug is to leave the city. That’s exactly what my clients decided to do when they purchased their lakefront getaway in Prince Edward County, in quant North Marysburgh. This rural enclave is located three hours from Toronto, facing the pristine waters of Prinyer’s Cove. The drive may seem arduous for some, but this executive couple will be rewarded with a scenic country drive, complete with farmer’s fields, vineyards and spectacular water views.

Prince Edward County has now become Toronto’s getaway retreat destination. Whether you fancy a country drive and wine tour, foodie dining experiences or simply to sit by a cozy fire underneath the stars, there is always an something that suits how you rest and recharge.

Imagine your very own weekend retreat where you can rest and recover from the week’s stresses, and with a glass of  local County wine in hand!
